Delete your account and data

Use the account and data deletion page to send a request. You do not need an app installed, and you do not need to sign in on this website. The form does not delete an account by itself. A person at HeySalad has to action it.

What the Sally policy says is deleted

• On account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where a legal retention obligation applies.
• Account data is otherwise retained while the account is active. The policy lists name, email, a phone number if you use it for optional two-factor authentication, and profile preferences.
• Shopping history is retained for 24 months to support list reuse while the account is active. The deletion rule above is the one that applies once you ask for deletion.
• Payment records are retained for 7 years where financial regulations require it.
• IoT camera footage is deleted automatically after 30 days unless you saved a clip.

The published policy also says you can email sally@heysalad.app to exercise a deletion right, and that HeySalad responds within 30 days.

TODO for PeterConfirm what happens to clips you chose to save, and to shopping history, when an account is deleted. The February 2026 policy states the 30-day personal-data rule and the 7-year payment-record rule, and it does not spell out saved clips. Also add this page's URL to Google Play once an Android listing exists. The Android app is not offered on this website today.
